CHILDREN'S EUROPEAN DAY REPORTS

Today we had our own Europian day in St.Nicholas. We checked in with our very own passports and through with a boarding pass onto the plane(School hall) we sat in rows and Mr.D was the pilate. It was funny because the LSA's were the cabin crew and stood in the isle's demenstrating the rules (eg. Where the exits were, The life coat, Seat belts) And when Shellie pretended to faint and Docter Thomas(Harry Thomas) Came to help. We travelled in 5 groaps to France, Portugal, Germany, Spain and Greece. My favourite country was Spain and Portugal because I liked the pretend bull fighting and the Sangria in Spain and I liked learning the Portugese language and the food.

Yestrday the whole school had European day.We had passports and we had to go on a plane(the hall)and you had to go thourgh costoms and passport control Mr.Willams  and Miss Morris were both in passport control and the LSA's were stewardess and Mr.D was the pilot and then we rotated around the class in diffrent groups going to diffrent contries in europe

The plane was really funny Shellie pretended that she fainted then doctor Harry Thomas saved her it was funny.
My favourite country was Germany because the food was LUSH the food was German salami, smoked cheese ,bagel and pretzel  they were yum
I didn’t like the olives in Greece but I liked the fata cheese yum. In Spain there was bread, cheese and pepperoni and sangria, In Portugal  there was pâté with sardine spread on top it was ok and there was a cake called something I cant remember but it was really nice. In the French café we had to ask what we wanted in French the food was orange juice , croissant and lovely bread. I really enjoyed the European day it was GREAT

On Friday 8th may we had a European day.  First the whole school lined up in one straight line.  Then the teachers called us over and checked our passports to see if they were ok.  Then they gave us our plane tickets and took our bags to be checked. Our passports were checked once more and then we boarded the plane.  The best part about the flight was when I pretended to faint then Harry Thomas came shaking me shouting "WAKE UP!" repeatedly.  It was so funny.  My favourite country was France because we had orange juice, croissants and briache.  I really enjoyed the whole day.

European day was really fun i enjoyed flying to our destination's, like greece, germany, france, spain and portugal my faveorate part was  the french cafe, but i think i had a bit to much chesse in the other classes,
in class one it was portugal we tried this sardine thing called paten or something
and we drew and coloured flags, in class two we tryed pretzle's and smoked cheese that tasted alot like dairylea cheese and we cloloured and stuck flags onto straw's,
in class three it wass greece we tried black olives bread and heard a myth and leadend about meducer, in class four we had good old fashioned BULLFIGHTING but not the real deal though
we had a drink called.......
and we had clolourings and we were listening to  spanish music
and in the hall we had a french cafe held by miss morris we tried cwossonse and orange juice and this very sweet cake but thie thing was we had to say it inn french

but thye best part i thought was the french cafe becouse i love french and i love all the foods

The Europen Day at St. Nicholas C/W Primray School was wicked! It seemed like there was proper staff from the airport and a wonderful pilot! We were flying on the GR8 plane! My faviroute conteries were Spain and France!!! I really enjoyed all the food in the France cafe, and I also enjoyed the bull fighting with Mr. D(Great)!!!!!!

Oh and a big thank-you to all the teachers for organizing the day!! It must of been hard work!

On Friday we had European Day. It was really fun, and I really enjoyed it. My favourite parts included being a Spanish bull-fighter, tasting different foods, Shellie fainting on the plane and being rescued by Dr. Harry Thomas and the flight there + back (via the LSA's being trolley dollies).

On Friday we had European Day. We arrived at school and joined the check-in que and had our passports checked by Miss Morris and Mr Williams. Then we boarded the plane, our Captain was 'El Capitain Grande'. When we landed we were split up into groups and then we went to 5 different countries in a day!!!! First Greece where we tasted Pitta Bread(which i like) and coloured in snakes for medusa's head and greek flags. Next stop was France with Crossaint and Brioche, I liked the Brioche. Then Portugal and I loved the Maderia Cake and we coloured in Portugeese flags. Then Germany, we tasted smoked ham and smoked cheese and bagels and pretzels, we did a quiz in German about colours and we learnt 1-10 in german. Last stop Spain where we did Flamenco Dancing, Bull Fighting and tried Different breads, Manchego Cheese, Chorizo sausage and Sangria(without the red wine!) I liked the bread and the bull fighting.

I had a fabulous day and thank you very much to all the staff.

My best 2 countries were Spain and Portragal! Because in Spain the sangria (with no alchol in it) was the best drink I ever had! In Portragal we all made puzzles and tasted the best cake in the world!!!

On Friday it was European day. One of my favourite countries was France, it was called 'Le Morris Cafe'. We got to try jus d'orange, briache and croissants. We had to order in French it was really fun!
In Portugal we got to speek Portugueese, we also had to draw their national flag. We tryed sardines and madira cake, the fish wasn't that nice but the cake was delicous!

MORE EUROPEAN DAY REPORTS

On Friday the whole school pretended they went on holiday. The contries we went to are Spain, Greece, France, Portugal and Germany. We ate all different tipes of food leant there languages and got to see what they did and did some colouring of what poeple looked like in the different contrys. And my favourite contry was Spain because I liked the Ball fighting but I think it is cruel to the bulls. But I also liked Greece because of the food.

Then all the people left slowy but she did not see this happening. And then the God roared

The God used powers and made her all ugly. With snakes as hair. If you looked at her you would turn into stone.
